Urban Shutters and Blinds guarantees that all installed products will be free from defects and function as intended for the duration of the warranty period. Our warranty covers specific products and conditions, including the product itself and the quality of the installation. Please read below for details on what is and isn’t covered by our warranty.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover:
- The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Claims beyond product or installation issues, or for matters not covered by the original invoice.
- Normal wear and tear or damage due to misuse against the product’s intended design (see below for examples).
- Products manipulated by any external entity or those not installed by our qualified installer.
- Material puckering in blinds over 2 meters wide or fabric damage from harsh weather conditions.
Misuse Examples:
- Indoor Blinds: Forcing blinds into positions they’re not designed for, or pulling them incorrectly.
- Outdoor Blinds: Operating blinds in high winds, failing to retract them during harsh weather, using chemicals near them, or lack of maintenance.
- Curtains: Pulling down on curtains, which may cause structural damage.
- Plantation Shutters: Forcing shutters into improper positions or mishandling them.
- Security Doors: Forcing doors into improper positions or leaving obstacles in sliding door tracks.
